Calvin Klein Collection Presents Italo Zucchelli’s Fall 2015 Men’s Runway Show

& ASC.

On January 18, 2015, Calvin Klein Collection‘s Men’s Creative Director, Italo Zucchelli, presented his Fall 2015 Calvin Klein Collection runway show in Milan.

Mr. Zucchelli presented 44 looks to an audience that included actor Charlie Hunnam, the face of the REVEAL Men Calvin Klein fragrance. Mr. Hunnam, who was wardrobed in a look designed by Mr. Zucchelli, is the star of the recently concluded hit television series, Sons of Anarchy, and also stars in Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming film, Crimson Peak.

Exclusive to the show were 10 models, including American model Clark Bockelman, who is currently featured in the brands’ Spring 2015 advertising campaign; Filip Hrivnak, who opened and closed the show; and French Canadian actor Pier-Gabriel Lajoie.

A powerful, masculine spirit pervaded the fall collection, with looks executed in extreme proportions and rich fabrics like bonded flannel, mélange wool and cashmere, and printed tweed. Outerwear was the focus, juxtaposing voluminous double breasted overcoats, parkas and capes with cropped shearling collar aviator jackets. The monochromatic palette was inspired by black and white films – a gray spectrum ranging from light heather, granite, charcoal heather and anthracite – and was modernized with glossy vinyl and animal print surfaces. Smooth calf and patent leather field boots complemented the overall feeling of rugged utilitarianism.
