NYFW Recap: BOSS Womenswear

& ASC.

Sadly, New York Fashion Week for Spring 2015 has now come and gone. But as fashion lovers hit the pavement in London, we’re still dreaming about the second BOSS Womenswear presentation by Artistic Director Jason Wu.

See below for key looks from BOSS, ranging from work wear staples to evening gowns fit for the red (or black) carpet.

Jason Wu opened the show with a strong statement about where he sees the brand going, including simple silhouettes and bold patterns.

Menswear inspired details were seen throughout the show, as in this clean shirt dress, topped off with a sleek belt that perfectly nips in the waist.

Wu referenced BOSS’ reputation for impeccable suiting with this low cut and commanding look.

Known for dressing the likes of Michelle Obama, Jason Wu is never one to shy away from a beautiful evening gown. He showed several that are destined to be seen on high-profile fans like Kate Bosworth, who recently wore BOSS at TIFF and sat in the show’s front row.

Lastly, campaign face Edie Campbell closed the show with an eye-catching and powerful beaded skirt and collar.

Visit BOSS’s YouTube page for more of the show’s highlights, as well as as a unique fashion film directed by Marco Brambilla entitled #thisisboss. “It’s a spring awakening,” states Jason Wu of this compelling and arresting film short, a statement of intent for the Spring/Summer 2015 season ahead.
