There was no shortage of glamour on the catwalks this season. As a perfect example, fashion’s front-runners are not letting go of the modern “undone” look. Whether tailored, embellished, feathered or textured, the unifying theme was uncompromising glamour for 2015 style.
There were key trends that dominated the runways, and it’s the mix of contrasting lengths and dishevelled textures that create a truly modern spirit for the season. According to our hair expert extraordinaire, Schwarzkopf Professional Essential Looks Artist Rossa Jurenas, texture was everywhere! From the slicked back locks and knotty knots in Alexander Wang, to the braids, buns and polished ponies at Tadashi Shoji, the direction for the season can be summed up by looking at the top three directions in the latest SKP collection:
· COLOR! Metal Chic – soft sheen, metallic tones, contrast with high shine, feathered fringes
· CURLS! Boho Curl – Rock Chic, hippy influences, 1970s, modern vintage
· CAREFULLY CRAFTED! Undone Glamour – Subtle detailing, crafted undone hair, sophisticated elegance
