1. What brought you to Palm Springs?
My sister recently moved to Los Angeles. I wanted to visit her there and we decided that Palm Springs would be a fun road trip!
2. What was your favourite part of Palm Springs?
Palm Springs has such a unique, relaxed vibe. It’s a great place to go when you’re looking to disconnect and get some desert sun.
We stayed in Palm Desert which is a newer area; there are some amazing boutiques and larger stores there such as Saks Fifth Avenue on El Paseo. Old Palm Springs is much more rustic and many of the buildings still have the original architecture. There’s also a remarkable design district filled with modern home ware and furniture stores.
Another desert must-do is the Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon. Trust me when I say this is the king of outlet malls. From Prada to Nike and Rag & Bone, they have it all!
3. What were your top three favourite food spots?
Workshop Kitchen and Bar, Spencers and Kings Highway at the Ace Hotel for brunch.
